About Dr. Patel
Dr. Manan "Manny" Patel is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Vestibular Specialist, and he holds the Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) credential. His work centers on vestibular rehabilitation, concussion recovery and persistent dizziness.
He has been treating patients since 2008, including complex recoveries after auto accidents and workplace injuries. His mission is to help people regain their balance, lose the fear of falling and get back to the things they love.
His background in pain science helps him look past surface symptoms. Persistent dizziness, central balance problems and chronic neck tension often feed one another, so he treats them together rather than one at a time.
Conditions he is referred for
Local ENTs, neurologists, audiologists and primary care doctors refer patients to Dr. Patel for complex dizziness, including:
- BPPV (positional vertigo)
- Vestibular migraine
- Persistent dizziness (PPPD)
- Unilateral vestibular hypofunction
- Bilateral vestibular hypofunction
- Concussion and mild traumatic brain injury
- Neck-related dizziness
- Balance decline and fall risk
Neck and spine pain care

His spine care focuses on the problems that overlap with his vestibular and concussion work: neck pain and headaches, whiplash and auto accident injuries, pinched nerves, disc problems, sciatica, persistent pain and rehabilitation after spine surgery.
- Neck pain & cervicogenic headaches
- Pinched nerve in the neck
- Whiplash & auto accident injuries
- Herniated & bulging discs
- Low back pain
- Sciatica
- Persistent (chronic) pain
- Rehab after neck or back surgery

How he works
Every visit is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one. Dr. Patel uses infrared video goggles to watch eye movements that the naked eye misses, computerized balance testing to measure stability, and hands-on care for the neck. He combines those findings into a plan that retrains how your brain, eyes and inner ears work together.
